Why We Built This Site
Michigan gives the public broad access to court records. The hard part is figuring out which office holds the file you want. The 42nd Circuit Court handles felony, family, and larger civil cases in Midland County. The 75th District Court runs misdemeanors, traffic, small claims, and civil matters up to $25,000. The Probate Court keeps wills, estates, and guardianship files. The County Clerk, who also serves as Clerk of the Circuit Court, handles vital records and marriage licenses. The Sheriff manages the jail roster and active warrants.
